What you can do
- Create Linear issues from AI-generated documents: Record a video, generate a summary with Tella’s AI, and create a Linear issue with one click. The video link is automatically included in the issue description.
- File bug reports instantly: Use the bug report flow to record a bug, let AI generate a structured report, and push it straight to Linear.
- Set a default team: Choose a default Linear team so issues are created without extra steps.
- Embed Tella videos in Linear: Paste any Tella video link into Linear issues, comments, or documents and it embeds automatically. Learn more.
Connect your Linear account
- Go to Settings → Integrations in Tella
- Find Linear and click Connect
- Authorize Tella in the popup window
- Once connected, you’ll see a “Connected” badge and can select a default team
Create a Linear issue from a video
- Open a Tella video and use AI Ask to generate a document (bug report, summary, meeting notes, etc.)
- In the generated document modal, click Create Linear issue
- Select a team if you haven’t set a default
- The issue is created with the document content and a link to your video
- Click the link to open the issue in Linear
Bug report flow
- Record a video of the bug you want to report
- Click Bug Report in the AI suggestions
- Tella generates a structured bug report from your recording
- The report is filed as a Linear issue automatically, with the video embedded for context
Set a default team
To skip team selection each time you create an issue:- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Under Linear, use the Default team dropdown to pick your team
