You can embed your Tella video into a Circle post, or into a course you’re hosting in Circle. Follow the steps below to do this.
1. Open your Tella video
- Start by opening the Tella video you want to embed.
2. Prepare the embed code
- Click on the “Share” button on your Tella video.
- Select “Share as Embed.”
- To hide any links to the Tella view page (if embedding in a course), disable everything except for the animated thumbnail option.
- Switch to the “Responsive” option for better compatibility.
- Click “Show Code” to reveal the embed code.
3. Copy the embed URL

In the embed code, find the
srcURL. -
Highlight the URL and copy it by pressing
Command+C(Mac) orControl+C(Windows).
4. Embed the video in a Circle course
- Go to your Circle course and open it.
- Select Edit Lessons.
- Click Add a New Lesson or edit an existing one.

In the lesson editor, type
/to bring up the block options, then choose “Video.” - Paste the embed code into the video section.
- Save your changes.
- Once saved, you should be able to view the Tella video within the course.
5. Embed the video in a Circle post
- To embed the video in a Circle post, click New Post.

In the post editor, type
/to bring up the block options, then select “Video.” - Paste the embed code to include your Tella video in the post.
6. Preview the video
- Once the video is embedded, you can preview it by clicking View. The video should now appear within the Circle post or course.
