To delete a video, choose Delete from its ⋯ menu in your library or from its name menu on the video page. Deleting moves it to the Trash, where it stays for 30 days before Tella removes it for good, so a delete you regret can be undone.

Delete a video from your library

  1. Go to My videos or Workspace videos.
  2. Open the video’s ⋯ (More actions) menu:
    • In Grid view, hover over the video and click ⋯ on the thumbnail.
    • In List view, click ⋯ at the right end of the video’s row.
  3. Choose Delete.
  4. Confirm with Yes, delete.
On a phone, Grid view has no hover controls, so the ⋯ button doesn’t appear on thumbnails. Switch to List view with the view toggle at the top of the page, or open the video and delete it from its name menu (below).

Delete a video from its view page or the editor

  1. Open the video, either on its view page or in the editor.
  2. Click the video’s name in the top bar to open its menu.
  3. Choose Delete, then confirm with Yes, delete.
Only the video’s creator can delete it. If you were given Editor access to someone else’s video, the menu shows Leave instead: that removes your access, and the video stays in the creator’s library.

Delete several videos at once

Select the videos you want to remove, then click Delete videos in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. See bulk select videos for the ways to build a selection, including selecting every video that matches a filter.

Delete a video permanently

Videos in the Trash are deleted for good after 30 days. To remove one sooner:
  1. Open Trash below your playlists in the sidebar.
  2. Remove the video:
    • In Grid view, hover over the video and click Delete now on the thumbnail.
    • In List view, click Delete at the right end of the video’s row.
  3. Confirm the permanent deletion.
The Trash uses whichever view you last chose in your library; it has no view toggle of its own. To empty several at once, select them in the Trash and click Delete now in the bottom toolbar. Permanent deletion can’t be undone.
