The Tella for Slack app makes Tella video links unfurl as inline videos, with their title and thumbnail, so your team can watch without leaving Slack. Workspace owners and members install it from Settings → Apps.
Install the Slack app

In Tella, click your workspace name in the top-left corner, go to Settings, then Apps under Other. Viewers don’t see this page.

Find Tella for Slack and click Install. This opens Tella’s listing in the Slack App Directory.

Click Add to Slack and authorize Tella for your Slack workspace.

Once installed, Tella links shared in Slack unfurl as inline videos.
Uninstall Tella from Slack
To remove the Tella app from your Slack workspace, go to your Slack workspace settings under Manage apps and remove Tella. Last modified on September 28, 2026
