If you signed up for Tella using Google login and want to switch to logging in with your email and password instead, you can do this by setting a password through the reset flow.

Set a password for your account

  1. Go to tella.tv/api/login.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Google account.
  3. Click “Forgot password?”.
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset email from Tella.
  5. Click the link in the email and choose a new password.
That’s it - you can now log in to Tella using your email and the password you just created.

Can I still use Google login after setting a password?

Yes. Adding a password doesn’t remove Google login. You can use either method to sign in going forward.

What if I don’t receive the reset email?

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Make sure you’re entering the same email address you used when signing up with Google.
  • If you’re still not receiving it, contact Tella support and we’ll help you out.
