No. Tella records one camera at a time, so you can’t record two webcams simultaneously (for example, one on your face and one on your hands or a whiteboard). To get two angles, combine them in a virtual camera app like OBS, or record each angle as a separate clip.
What camera setups does Tella support?
Tella supports recording with one camera at a time, which can be combined with screen recording. You can:
-
Record camera only
-
Record screen only
-
Record screen + camera together, then arrange them with layouts
Recording from two separate webcams simultaneously is not currently supported in Tella.
How can I show two camera angles?
-
Use a third-party app: Apps like OBS Studio can combine multiple camera feeds into a single virtual camera output. Then select that virtual camera in Tella.
-
Use screen recording: Open both camera feeds in separate windows on your desktop (using Photo Booth, QuickTime, or camera software), then use Tella’s screen recording to capture your entire desktop showing both feeds.
-
iPhone as second camera: If you’re on a Mac, you can use your iPhone as a webcam via Continuity Camera. While you can only use one camera at a time in Tella, you can switch between your built-in webcam and iPhone camera between clips.
Which approach should I use?
